The Universite Abdelmalek Essdi, Association Marocaine de Biodiversite (AMAB), the Intitut Scientifique, Rabat and the Gibraltar Ornithological & Natural History Society co-organised the second national conference on the biodiversity of Morocco, in Tetouan, Morocco, on 26 and 27 October 2007.

The contribution from GONHS and from the Institut Scientifique was part of its collaborative project under GIBMANATUR, a European union INTERREG IIIA project.
